Someone getting the blame, defending himself with ‘I didn’t do it’, as well as ‘The devil forced me’. These two statements don’t gel. Musically Cochon Bleu’s attention is shed from Louisiana, across the Gulf of Mexico to Cuba. The added brass section completes this tropical cocktail.

​This Kris Kristofferson song, Janis Joplin’s biggest hit, takes place lyrically somewhere in between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Actually it isn’t that big a stretch for Cochon Bleu to turn i tinto a cajun waltz, featuring ti fer, fiddle and accordion.
